The Johnson Homestead is located near the south end of Bailey Island, Maine. It can be the ideal quiet spot for those guests looking for rest and relaxation, yet also offers opportunities for those interested in many different outdoor activities such as boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming. It is a fully furnished four bedroom house with 2 full bathrooms facing out on the entrance to Mackerel Cove. 

It will accommodate 6-8 guests. On a clear day Mt Washington is plainly visible in the distance and the sunsets in the evening can be spectacular. The house also has a wonderful eastern facing sun porch , perfect for morning coffee, playing games, eating meals, or just the occasional relaxing nap. 'Little Harbor' is a semi-private beach behind the house perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or picnicking.

There is a fisherman's workshop behind the house where one of the Johnson lobstermen is always willing to stop and talk or take your daily order for lobster, as they have for generations.
